The boundary layer (a thin layer close to a wall) is important in the study of atmospheric boundary layers and electrical boundary layers, which have many applications in fluid mechanics and physical chemistry. Mathematical analysis and numerical computation may play a crucial role to study boundary layer solutions of Navier-Stokes equations (for atmospheric boundary layers) and Poisson-Nernst-Planck equations (for electric boundary layers). The workshop will give an opportunity for researchers in related areas to share and discuss their current research ideas.
